We are not related to Mel Brooks, Garth Brooks, or Brooks&Dunn. But now that we are on the internet, maybe we will become as famous as the men mentioned above.

Homily
The word homily is derived from the Greek word ὁμιλία homilia (from ὁμιλεῖν homilein), which means to have verbal communion with a person.
