- For Thyroid Support: Combine 10 drops of lemongrass, 10 drops of frankincense, 10 drops of basil, 10 drops of clove and 10 drops of myrrh in a glass roller ball and top with fractionated coconut oil. Rub a few swipes on the bottoms of the feet twice a day.
- Lymphatic Drainage: Rub 1 drop of Lemongrass with a bit of fractionated coconut oil on the bottoms of the feet 2x a day. Movement is also very important for the lymphatic system, so make sure to combine this with at least 30 minutes of exercise each day.
- For Lactose Intolerance: Place 1-2 drops in a veggie capsule and take internally 20 minutes before eating. I have a friend who does this when eating out at restaurants just in case he consumes anything with dairy without his knowledge. He says it works wonderfully! (I recognize that ingesting pure essential oils internally is a controversial topic. If you're not comfortable ingesting the oils, then simply rub 1-2 drops over the stomach.)
- Natural Insect Repellant: Diffuse 2 drops Lemongrass, 2 drops Thyme, 2 drops Eucalyptus, and 2 drops Basil.
- For Edema: Rub 1-2 drops with some Fractionated Coconut Oil on any areas of the body that are retaining fluids. If you're retaining fluids on a normal basis, this can be a sign of an adrenal imbalance. Click here for more info.
- To Sooth Aching Joints and Muscles: Rub 1 drop of lemongrass and 1 drop of Eucalyptus with a bit of fractionated coconut oil over area of concern.
- Occasional Fever: Rub 1 drop of lemongrass and 1 drop of peppermint with a bit of fractionated coconut oil up and down the spine.
- Bloating and Gas: Rub 1 drop of lemongrass and 1 drop of DigestZen over the abdomen.
- To Calm the Nerves: Diffuse 2 drops Lemongrass, 2 drops Lavender, and 1 drop Geranium.
- To Soothe a Sore Throat: Rub 1 drop lemongrass and 1 drop frankincense with a bit of fractionated coconut oil over the throat.
We are not related to Mel Brooks, Garth Brooks, or Brooks&Dunn. But now that we are on the internet, maybe we will become as famous as the men mentioned above. On second thought, probably not. We are not funny and we cannot sing. Anyhow, enjoy the site!

- To Boost the Immune System - Clove has 30x more anti-oxidants than blueberries! It’s a great oil to add to your daily routine to keep the immune system strong.
- For Toothaches - If you have any dental work done or have a toothache, use a drop of Clove Oil mixed with some Fractionated Coconut Oil and apply directly to the area of concern in the mouth...it works wonders! It will also temporarily numb the area.
- To Soothe a Sore Throat - Rub 1 drop of Melaleuca, Ginger, and OnGuard (which contains Clove) on the throat. You can also place the drops on your tongue and drink a glass of water. Please Note...it’s a little spicy, so this isn’t something for the kids.

Homemade Thieves Lozenges
Ingredients;
1 cup granulated sugar
1/2 cup water (I used lemon tea instead)
1T lemon juice
1 T honey
1/4 t ginger
8-12 drops therapeutic grade Thieves EO
5-10 drops lemon essential oil
1/3 cup confectioners sugar
Add granulated sugar, ginger, water (or tea), honey, & lemon juice together in saucepan and put on high. Constantly stir until mix reaches 250*. Reduce heat to low or med-low with lots of stirring for 15 min or until it thickens.
You can put a drop on parchment paper & see if it solidifies to test if it's ready.
Once it has slightly thickened, remove from heat and let it slightly cool. Once ready to make drops, then add your essential oils. Don't add while still very hot because they will evaporate.
Cover with confectioners sugar to prevent them sticking to each other.
Trial & error:
This is what I found from experimenting with other people's YouTube videos;
•I tried making drops with a spoon or by filling a turkey baster up with the concoction and making drops, but the best way I found was pouring into a measuring cup & using a silicone mold.
•Don't heat to 300*, it's too hot and it scorches the sugar as some suggest.
•Don't use the turkey baster bc it's too hot to handle and it cools too quickly thereby getting stuck in the tube.
•Make a couple of trial drops before making them all. I dropped about 20 then realized they weren't firming up. I scraped them back into the pan and heated to 250* and kept cooking until it looked like (real) maple syrup.

EO - ORAC
ORAC stands for Oxygen Radical Absorbance Capacity. It's a lab test that attempts to quantify the "total antioxidant capacity" (TAC) of a food by placing a sample of the food in a test tube, along with certain molecules that generate free radical activity and certain other molecules that are vulnerable to oxidation . After a while, they measure how well the sample protected the vulnerable molecules from oxidation by the free radicals. The less free radical damage there is, the higher the antioxidant capacity of the test substance. There are actually a handful of different tests designed to measure total antioxidant capacity in this way, but the ORAC is probably the best known and most popular.

EO (Essential Oils) The Beginning - 3 Step Process to Reprogram
I've discovered a new hobby and it is Essential Oils (EO). The more I read about them, the more I love. Currently I'm reading Healing Oils of the Bible, by Dr. D avid Stewar t.
If you can't smell an oil @ a distance, it probably isn't essential - exceptions include some natural, volatile oils that are faint.
Antibiotics are non-living & attack/kill all bacteria in our system, while EOs are smart and attack only the invaders. (However, the author does not appose the use of antibiotics, just not ALL the time.)
EOs are the only "treatment" small enough to cross the blood/brain barrier.
Here he recommends a 3-step process to re-train your body/cells to communicate with one another:
(1) Cleanse cellular receptor sites to allow proper transfer of hormones, peptides, steroids, neurotransmitters, etc with: phenols and phenylpropanoids:
anise (90%), clove (80%), basil (70%), oregano (70%), thyme (48%), Calamus or cane (30%), cinnamon (25%), or cassia (8%)
(2) De-program BAD info: these EOs work at the subcellular level by affecting membrane fluidity and facilitating O2 transfer. They also reflect transport of material inside the cell, allowing access to DNA & RNA. Monoterpenes:
grapefruit (92), angelica (80%), frankincense (77%), cypress (77%), galbanum (75%), Rose of Sharon (54%), juniper (54%), spruce (50%), myrtle (37%), hyssop (30%), & peppermint (11%).
(3) Re-Program with correct info: Monoterpenes and sesquiterpenes work at the subcellular and intracellular levels, protecting against free radical damage and work within cells to produce properly programmed strands of RNA & DNA. Sesquiterpenes:
cedar wood (98%), vetiver (96%), sandalwood/aloes (95%), patchouli (85%), ginger (70%), myrrh (60%), spikenard (50%), black pepper (47%), galbanum (4%), frankincense (8%).
