Miss Elizabeth came down with her first ear infection today. She had a 103.8 fever so we took her to urgent care after trying a cool bath - which she hated. We had the choice of 10 days of an antibiotic or a shot. We chose the shot, even though she didn't like it. After a long nap, feeding, and acetaminophen, she's smiling, babbling, and playing on the floor. Thank God we brought her in to make sure the fever wasn't just a cold, flu or teething. To all parents out there: trust your instincts.
